We are seeking a **Supply Chain Lead** to take on the role of developing and improving our supply chain operations. This includes working with our suppliers to improve the efficiency of our supply chain - improving reliability, Communications and systems. This role will be critical for developing our procurement team as grow for the future.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:

- Strategic procurement of raw materials and supplies for recurring and specialized inventory
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting vendor relationships
- Support the development of purchasing specifications by analyzing technical data and drawings
- Monitoring consumption levels to calibrate strategic purchasing plans
- Create and manage purchase orders for inventory, services and general supplies as applicable
- Serve as a liaison to suppliers, addressing requirements, non-conformance, delivery and invoicing issues
- Develop supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and inventory reduction programs where feasible
- Negotiate the terms and pricing on the procurement of goods and services
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Analyzes suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and determine lowest cost consistent with quality and delivery requirements
- Serve on inter-departmental cross-functional teams to evaluate material suitability for required specifications
- Conduct regular reviews with key suppliers - reviewing supplier reliability, performance, and suitability
- Assist with writing and updating department procedures
- Assist with month-end procedures, audits and inventory counts
- Manage and develop purchasing team; manage performance and conduct quarterly employee briefings
- Establish and Monitor department KPI’s

Education, Experience and Skills required for this position:

- Diploma in Business or other Supply Chain related field required
- 2-3 years of combined Materials planning, scheduling and procurement experience
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
