This four-year Honours program is interdisciplinary and collaborative. You’ll work with your classmates to use multiple scientific disciplines to seek solutions to real-world problems. Small classes of no more than approximately 60 students mean you’ll get individualized attention from your professors.

Contribute to cutting-edge research in your favourite area of Science through your own independent research project with a faculty member.

**Course Information**:
An exploration of socio-scientific issues facing humanity, including climate change, food availability, energy/water supply, and biodiversity loss. The interdisciplinary nature and interconnectivity of these issues will be discussed. Students will access the scientific literature and government reports, critically evaluate the data presented and use it to develop cogent arguments.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.

**Qualifications**:
In accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position. Applicants should have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
