Maintenance Worker

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Provide excellent service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and interacting with residents and Sisters on a daily basis;
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities and ensure full compliance for our preventative maintenance program;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and direct work by outside contractors;
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards;
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections;
- Complete necessary repairs and updates to common areas and resident suites such as replacing flooring, painting, changing taps;
- Maintain an adequate inventory of maintenance supplies for day-to-day use.
**Skills**
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs;
- Capability to supervise projects and communicate updates effectively;
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings;
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to maintenance challenges;
- Strong customer service orientation to ensure satisfaction by all;
**Required**:
- Police Record Check (as per RHA), including VSC
- Immunization as per home’s policy, if applicable
- TB Testing
The core hours of work are 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of this role and need to troubleshoot critical building issues, there may be times you will need to be on site outside of the core hours.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
