**JOB POSTING - Part-time Horticultural Technician**

Planteriors Inc. is an Ottawa based environmentally friendly interior and exterior plant maintenance company. We pride ourselves on the highest standards of horticultural stewardship, material supplies and knowledge for the design, installation and maintenance of interior and exterior plantscapes. We have been in operation since 1991, servicing clients throughout the Ottawa region.

**We are seeking a part-time horticultural technician with experience in tropical plant care and maintenance to join our team. Start date: September 2024.**

**Requirements**:

- Experience with interior tropical plant maintenance and the care required to maintain them to the highest standards.
- Can manage time independently and efficiently.
- Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, team-oriented, and reliable.

**About the position**:

- Frequent travel between sites is required; a valid driver’s license and owning a vehicle an asset.
- Security clearance an asset.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Maintaining interior plantscapes on a weekly routine (watering, cleaning, pruning, spraying).
- Ability to work individually, as well as a team member to install plant material on site.
- Pest control and regular spraying program at various sites.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
