**Marketing Intern (Contractor)**

**Location: Toronto, Ontario**

**About Us**: We are COSU Creative Studios Inc, an indie creative studio focused on developing limited edition collectible art toys, and we are actively looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience in marketing, social media, and event management from an independent creative studio startup environment. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our initial marketing efforts and helping our brand’s short term growth strategy. During this time you will be responsible for assisting with social media content creation, managing operational project based tasks as assigned, completing research reports on marketing insight and providing lists of upcoming relevant events, as well as events management and business development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Content Creation**:

- Help develop, shoot, and edit engaging and creative TikTok videos that align with our brand voice and strategy.
- Monitor TikTok trends and propose new ideas for content that will resonate with our audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute TikTok campaigns.
- **Business Development**:

- Help manage and update influencer and customer database
- Managing communications with micro-influencers book of business
- **Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies.
- Assist in creating detailed events lists and opportunities for the upcoming year and provide coordination assistance.
- **Event and Campaign Assistance**:

- Support the marketing team in planning and executing events, both virtual and in-person.
- Assist in setting up promotional materials, coordinating logistics, and managing on-site activities.
- Help track and analyze the performance of campaigns and events, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media marketing, particularly TikTok.
- Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and content creation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self starter mindset
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
- If you like collecting toys, or opening blind boxes, that would be a bonus
