Vous vous passionnez pour les dernières nouvelles et le journalisme d’initiative et en ligne, et vous tenez à faire découvrir des enjeux qui comptent pour votre auditoire?

CBC Thunder Bay est à la recherche d’un ou d’une journaliste d’expérience dynamique à l’esprit créatif pour travailler en ligne et en ondes afin d’apporter une contribution positive à notre salle des nouvelles et à notre auditoire.

Journaliste d’exception possédant le sens de l’initiative, vous devez savoir analyser un large éventail de sujets, et pouvoir bien fonctionner dans le milieu trépidant d’une salle des nouvelles multiplateforme. Vous avez déjà de l’expérience dans une salle de nouvelles et tirez de la fierté d’histoires que vous avez déjà révélées au public. De plus, vous cherchez à présenter de nouvelles voix pour vos reportages, notamment celles de personnes mises en marge des conversations.

Vous savez rédiger, réviser et mettre en forme du contenu de nouvelles ou d’affaires publiques diffusé en ligne ou en ondes. Les médias sociaux n’ont pas de secret pour vous, et vous êtes à l’aise pour trouver vos propres sujets comme pour les raconter en fonction du matériel recueilli par vos collègues.

Vous avez le sens de l’innovation et la volonté d’essayer de nouvelles choses. Vous vous adaptez bien aux technologies de pointe, notamment aux nouveaux processus de travail et aux nouvelles approches pour le traitement des sujets sous formes diverses (contenu écrit, audio et vidéo). De plus, vous inspirez les autres à en faire autant. Vous avez conscience de la diversité et de l’évolution de la population du nord-ouest de l’Ontario, ainsi que de l’importance de prendre en compte toutes les communautés dans nos contenus. Vous avez de l’expérience du journalisme auprès des communautés autochtones.

À ce poste, vous vous assurerez que l’ensemble des normes journalistiques de CBC/Radio-Canada sont respectées, que nos reportages sont justes, équilibrés, exacts, sérieux et pertinents, et qu’ils reflètent les communautés que nous servons. Vous incarnez les valeurs propres à une culture respectueuse axée sur l’inclusion, et vous en faites la promotion.

Tâches principales:
- Proposer des idées de reportage, faire des recherches (sources et renseignements), vérifier les faits, et rédiger des textes de longueur variée pour des sujets d’initiative en tenant compte des formats propres au récit en ligne et en ondes, pour toucher et informer l’auditoire, solidifier nos liens avec la communauté et favoriser la diversité des points de vue;- Réagir rapidement aux événements qui surviennent pour alimenter les nouvelles de dernière heure sur l’ensemble des plateformes (web, médias sociaux, radio et vidéo);- Utiliser le contenu des autres plateformes de CBC : rédiger et mettre en forme les sujets en choisissant des titres, des photos, des vidéos, du contenu audio et des illustrations qui interpellent, en fonction des données et mesures de l’auditoire les plus récentes;- Réviser et publier du contenu web provenant d’autres rédacteurs;- Aptitude à rédiger et à livrer des reportages clairs, concis et critiques à la radio, ainsi qu’à présenter un bulletin en direct;- Analyser les faits et les renseignements recueillis, et en tirer des conclusions ou soulever des enjeux exigeant une recherche plus poussée;- Préparer, rédiger et présenter des scripts, des reportages et des segments radio mis en forme, y compris des interventions en direct dans les émissions de radio du matin et de l’après-midi.

Ce poste nécessite une présence sur site à temps plein.

Profil recherché:
- Expérience de travail avérée dans un environnement de nouvelles de dernière heure;- Excellente compréhension de la diffusion de nouvelles en ligne et en ondes, ainsi que des médias sociaux et des méthodes de distribution du contenu en ligne;
