**Position Summary**:
J. J. Keller's highly regarded team of **Transportation Consultants** is looking to add contract resources who will assist us with providing **Transport Consulting** services to our clients in Canada. As a **Contract Transport Consultant,** you will work with clients of all types and sizes and provide a wide variety of services that includes conducting audits & assessments, developing and implementing customized solutions, and providing training, advisory, and technical support. As an Independent Contractor with J. J. Keller, you MUST have other clients, as J. J. Keller cannot make up 50% or more of your total annual revenue.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation or a Safety related field desired.
- Certified Transportation Safety Professional certification preferred
**Experience**:
- 5+ years experience as a safety practitioner in a consulting and or corporate environment.
- Complex sales / business development experience desirable.
**Other Skills/Qualifications**:
- Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates and client representatives at all levels.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Provincial Regulations and Transport Canada Regulations.
- Ability to travel 60% - 70% of the time.
- Must have other clients (J. J. Keller cannot make up 50% or more of your total annual revenue), and maintain commercial general liability, professional liability, and E&O insurance.
**Physical Requirements**:
Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Periodic travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may be required based on assignment.
