**Position Summary**

Black Gold is seeking an experienced Emergency Response Plan Training Consultant who is eager to join an exciting company with excellent growth potential. This individual must have an ICS training background and a high level of expertise in dealing with oil and gas operations.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The key responsibilities of the Emergency Response Plan Training Consultant will be as follows:

- Facilitation of Communications / Tabletop / Full-scale Major / Operation-focused and/or Corporate EOC team-focused training exercises.
- Facilitation of Mobile Application training sessions using BGGo Plan’s Response proprietary app on a smart phone-based technology.
- Develop regulatory compliant training presentations and post-training summary reports for submission to the applicable agencies when required.
- Manage Drilling / Completions ERP meetings.
- ICS training as required.
- Communicate and coordinate with Black Gold project managers for document revisions related to the outcome of the training sessions.
- Meet with clients to ensure that their ERP training requirements are met and addressed.
- Schedule training programs in an effective and timely manner.
- Coordinate travel schedule for training exercises located outside of Calgary.
- Travel to client field and corporate locations throughout Western Canada and into the United States to facilitate training exercises.
- Assist with ERP development as needed.
- Government Agency Consultations as required.

**SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Should have a sound and current understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to Emergency Response Management for the jurisdictions in which our clients operate (BC / Alberta / Saskatchewan / Federal / US / CER / TDG).
- Have a solid working understanding of the ICS structure - minimum 300 level certified. An ICS 200 Train the Trainer Certification is a must. ICS 300 Train the Trainer would be an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of Oil and Gas experience.
- Minimum 5 years of training experience preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Familiar with Virtual Training Software.
- Familiar with GPS/GIS mapping Software.
- Must have a current passport and available method of transportation for periodic travel to and from clients’ corporate and field locations.

To be successful, the Emergency Response Plan Training Consultant must have previous training experience, excellent time management skills, good computer software knowledge and possess strong problem-solving abilities. An individual with a consulting business background is a definite asset.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $75.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB T2G 2W3
