**MARKETING AND EVENT COORDINATOR**:
Reporting to the director of communications and marketing.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Ensuring end-to-end project management as well as delivery objectives of small
- and large-scale events. This notably includes logistics, staffing, budget tracking, key performance indicator monitoring for marketing campaigns, content and retrospectives.
- Planning, coordinating and executing tasks related to the organization of information dissemination events and activities such as symposia, conferences, webinars, digital events and workshops while adhering to agreed timeframes;
- Coordinating participation in activities, events or booths, including those sponsored by Nergica;
- Ensuring the planning, coordination and control of marketing projects (work organization, budget control, follow-up of objectives and performance indicators, management of suppliers and business partners, etc.);
- Coordinating Nergica sponsorships, including ideation of plans, management of material, guest speakers and logístical aspects, as well as impact tracking;
- Integrating Nergica’s value proposition and service offering into marketing tools;
- Working in close collaboration with the business development team by offering marketing expertise for its kick-off activities and client meetings;
- Developing and following up on marketing and commercialization strategies as well as actions plans for the sector under his or her responsibility based on the organization’s strategic orientations and business needs;
- Actively contributing to forging ties between various organizations and businesses within the renewable energy sector;
- Any other related tasks.

**Requirements**:
Undergraduate university degree in business administration, especially marketing or communications (or equivalence);
- At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position;
- Desire to share knowledge and positively influence other team members;
- Command of written and spoken French and English: essential
- Willingness to take charge of a project and see it through to completion;
- Efficiency under pressure and whenever sudden challenges arise;
- Ability to quickly and clearly correct a situation while staying calm;
- Good organization skills and ability to juggle multiple issues simultaneously;
- Ease of establishing rapports with clientele and potential partners; business acumen;
- Proactivity, autonomy, creativeness and professionalism;
- Ability to synthesize;
- Familiarity with issues related to renewables in general, especially wind and solar (plus).

**Conditions**:
The position is based in the town of Gaspé (hybrid) and entails a 37.5-hour work week.

Salary is commensurate with the selected applicant’s education and experience.
