**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Canine Coach to join our team. The Canine Coach will be responsible for supervising and engaging with dogs in our daycare facility, leading enrichment activities, ensuring the safety and comfort of all dogs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position offers the opportunity for growth within the company for individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership skills, and a passion for canine care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise dogs in daycare playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Lead and participate in enrichment activities such as group play sessions, sensory experiences, puzzle games, and more.
- Provide individualized attention and care to meet the unique needs of each dog.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning up after dogs, sanitizing play areas, and keeping supplies stocked.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns, and report any issues to management.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in canine behavior, training, and care.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting, such as a daycare, kennel, shelter, or veterinary clinic, is preferred.
- Passion for working with dogs and a genuine desire to provide them with the highest level of care and enrichment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-energy situations and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement training techniques.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company, with potential for advancement into leadership roles.
- Physically able to manage dogs up to 100lbs
- Be able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions as dog walking is outdoors

**Students in school or returning to school will not be considered. This job requires 15-20 hours per week minimum between the hours of 7:30 am-5:30pm. Depending on the experience of the applicant this job could be a full-time position as we are growing.**
