Kitchen Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food preparation and service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Help with cooking tasks under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Support the kitchen staff in serving meals to customers
- Help with meal preparation for special events
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food preparation setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
