**Summary of the Role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Applications & Program Management, the Applications Support Specialist supports and troubleshoots systems, typically working with end users and vendor technical resources. They are responsible for the ongoing operational user support. Additionally, the Applications Specialist will participate in small enhancement projects, gathering and documenting requirements, managing change, communications, and training.

The Application Specialist will support SharePoint online and on-premises. They will be handling access requests and automated workflow enhancement requests.

The responsibility of the Application Support team will grow as Parkbridge continues to add new systems to its IT environment. The Applications Specialist needs to continually learn and be trained on new systems as they come online.

**Note: 2 days per week in the Collingwood office is required. During the winter months, this is a Monday-Friday job. Some weekend work will be required (on rotational basis) during our green season May-October.**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

The following are the key responsibilities.

**_Application Support_**
- Troubleshoot anomalies in the systems and work with the software vendors to resolve any issues with the systems when needed. (Tier 2+ support)
- Promptly resolve support tickets created by users.
- Coordinate system updates as required in conjunction with the vendor.
- Communicate and document the correct use of new functionality to the staff.

**_Microsoft SharePoint Administration_**
- Administer user access to Sharepoint sites and the intranet.
- Launch new sites when requested by various departments.
- Manage and maintain site content and structure settings, site hierarchy, and site collection navigation.
- Review new features in the SharePoint roadmap and advise the management.
- Oversee and enforce all aspects of the Site Collection lifecycle (including managing permissions)
- Design, configure, and manage comprehensive site collection, site and list level usage reports, and usability analysis.
- Develop and revise guides for the end users and site owners.
- Work with Corporate Communications to help guide the decision-making process on changes to the intranet.

**_Resorts Management System Configuration & Maintenance_**
- Support the resort reservation system for 39 resorts throughout Canada.
- Develop and maintain data configuration templates used in the reservation system.
- Perform periodic audits on data integrity.
- Ensure all resorts across Canada are consistently employing the same processes.

**_Other Duties_**
- Work with the vendor account manager and internal department stakeholders to understand and document new enhancement requests.
- Consistently and accurately suggest improvements to the current process and work with the team lead and stakeholders to implement the improvements.
- Perform periodic training to resort staff on how to use new functionality or to re-enforce proper system use.
- Contribute to projects as and when asked by the management.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:

- Previous experience supporting a Microsoft environment (**SharePoint**, SQL Queries, Power Platform, Teams, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SharePoint in Development and Administration
- Previous IT service management and support work experience
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technology.
- SharePoint Platform management skills - technical backend, deployment skills
- Manage, secure, and maintain the SharePoint Online (SPO) platform
- Enforce all aspects of the Site Collection lifecycle (including managing permissions)
- Manage and maintain site content and structure settings and site hierarchy
- Experience providing SharePoint end-user support
- Must be able to self-manage work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, in face-to-face and remote settings.
- Command strong communications skills (written and oral)
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with resort/hotel booking management system
- Experience with ShareGate (mass file migrations)
- Relevant experience in the real estate/property management sector
- Experience in ITIL based service management model
- ITIL Foundation certification
