As a Design Support Specialist, you will be putting your design experience to the ultimate test You will work directly with our experienced Sales Management and Operations teams, assisting in the technical coaching and support of design representatives and playing a crucial role on our support line. Our team just keeps on growing We are currently looking for someone with some design and coaching experience, preferably in the field of architecture, construction, or interior design, who enjoys providing one-on-one coaching and support to others.

**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist design representatives in the accurate completion and review of their designs by providing one-on-one coaching and feedback
- Assist in the development of design training materials
- Manage the designer training calendar
- Redraw and/or redesign previously designed projects where necessary
- Provide one-on-one phone support to representatives in the field
- Utilize the internal communication database to maintain and review client files
- Work with the Operations team to optimize the functionality of design projects and effectively communicate installer feedback to designers
- Conduct price verification where needed and provide ongoing coaching and support to design representatives regarding pricing and/or technical questions
- Assist other departments by participating in sales and operations meetings, providing technical design guidance, and leading ongoing training classes

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A relevant College Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with technical drawings/designs
- Previous coaching, training, or teaching experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in customer service a strong asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license
