**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in executing annual strategic marketing initiatives to drive the growth of Vitalus' market share and product sales. This position collaborates on strategic projects with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with the overarching commercial objectives. The role demands a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to effectively contribute to the company's ongoing growth and success. Term length - 18 months.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**

**Tradeshow and Commercial Event Marketing**
- Evaluate, plan, define objectives, coordinate, and execute trade show events and activities to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Assist in the creation of pre
- and post-show marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade show participation, providing insights and recommendations for improvement for future events.

**Market Research**
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Gather and analyze data to support marketing strategies and commercial decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations on market research findings.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends.

**Marketing Strategy Support**
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, corporate branding communications and advertising.
- Assist in development of brand positioning strategies to differentiate Vitalus in the market.
- Support content strategies that engage target audiences and support brand objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Vitalus and external marketing agencies to ensure alignment of strategic goals and deliverables.

**Marketing Operations**
- Coordinate and project manage assigned marketing initiatives to ensure effective and timely execution.
- Manage marketing assets and collateral to maintain consistency with strategic objectives.
- Provide accurate trade show budget estimates to support effective fiscal planning.
- Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned by Sr. Director, Marketing.

- Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with mínimal supervision
- Problem solver with solid analytical skills and the ability to trouble shoot as the need arises.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Marketing, Product Communications, Sales or Business with at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role in the F&B industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B marketing is a must have.
- Previous experience with effective coordination of trade show and other commercial industry events.
- Superior time management skills, detail orientation, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills to clearly communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners/customers.
- Professional level proficiency in MS Office.
- The position will require occasional day travel and evening hours as needed in special circumstances.
