We are seeking a motivated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team and help drive our online visibility and organic search performance. As an SEO Specialist, you will be crucial in optimising our website, content, and online presence to ensure that we achieve high rankings on search engine results pages (SERPs) and attract targeted organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-opportunity keywords for our industry. Analyse keyword competitiveness and search trends to inform content strategies.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures to enhance search engine visibility and user experience. Implement best practices for on-page SEO.
- Collaborate with our development team to address technical SEO issues like website speed, mobile-friendliness, crawl errors, and structured data markup.
- Work closely with content creators to develop and implement content strategies that align with SEO goals.
- Ensure content is optimised for target keywords and provides value to our audience.
- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to improve the website's authority and backlink profile.
- Identify opportunities for outreach and partnerships.
- Conduct frequent SEO audits and generate detailed reports on metrics and progress towards goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the SEO field. Implement changes to strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure SEO is integrated into all relevant aspects of our online presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
- Technical SEO knowledge, including HTML, CSS, website architecture, and structured data.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with local SEO and international SEO strategies is a plus.
