**Overview**:
Crisis Centre North Bay is looking for an energetic, independent professional with strong leadership qualities to work in our Supervised Access Centre on a casual part time basis.

The Nipissing Supervised Access Centre is a program funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services that provides a safe, child focused environment in which trained staff facilitate, monitor and document visits and exchanges between children and non-custodial parents or other persons as required by a Court Order. As an Access Worker you will be responsible to supervise court ordered visits between access parent(s)/family member(s) and their children and supervise court ordered and voluntary exchanges where there is unresolved conflict between the separated parents.

**Hours of Operation**:
The Nipissing Supervised Access Centre operates from Thursday to Sunday; 8:30am-7:00pm.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant social service field
- Knowledge and experience in family conflict, family dynamics, effective parenting skills and custody/access issues
- Experience working with children, youth and families is considered an asset
- Exemplary emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Ability to form and maintain strong professional relationships
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and in written format
- Excellent observation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Crisis prevention and intervention experience and conflict resolution skills considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
- Must provide own transportation to worksites
- Satisfactory criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector Screening

**Aperçu**:
Le Centre de crise de North Bay cherche un professionnel énergique et indépendant doté de solides qualités de leadership qui pourra travailler au Centre de visites surveillées de façon occasionnelle et à temps partiel. Le Centre de visites surveillées du Nipissing est un programme financé par le ministère des Services à l’enfance et des Services sociaux et communautaires qui offre un milieu sécuritaire et axé sur l’enfant, dans lequel le personnel formé facilite, surveille et documente les visites et les échanges entre les enfants et les parents qui n’ont pas leur garde légale ou d’autres personnes qui font l’objet d’une ordonnance de la cour. À titre d’employé(e) à l’accès, vous serez chargé de superviser les visites ordonnées par la cour entre les parents ou membres de famille et leurs enfants et de superviser les échanges ordonnés par la cour et volontaires, en présence d’un conflit non résolu entre les parents séparés.

**Heures d’ouverture**:
Le Centre de visites surveillées du Nipissing est opérationnel du mardi au dimanche, de 8 h 30 à 19 h 00.

**Qualités requises**:

- Diplôme d’études collégiales ou grade universitaire dans un domaine qui traite des services sociaux pertinents.
- Connaissance et expérience des conflits familiaux, des dynamiques familiales, des aptitudes parentales efficaces et des problèmes de garde et d’accès.
- L’expérience de travail avec des enfants, des jeunes et des familles est un atout.
- Intelligence émotionnelle et habiletés interpersonnelles exemplaires.
- Capacité à établir et entretenir de solides relations professionnelles.
- Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Excellentes habiletés d’observation.
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à faire partie d’une équipe.
- L’expérience en prévention et intervention en cas de crise et les habiletés de résolution de conflits sont un atout.
- Le bilinguisme (français-anglais) est un atout.
- Doit se rendre au lieu de travail par ses propres moyens.
- Vérification satisfaisante du casier judiciaire et vérification de l’habilitation à travailler auprès de personnes vulnérables.
