Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Human Resources - Manager role is both hands-on and strategic; providing expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, diversity and inclusivity, regulatory compliance and ad hoc projects as needed to attract and retain talent, and promote engagement & performance in alignment with Aventus’ mission & core value.

- **Essential Functions**_

**Strategic Planning**
- Contribute to the company’s long-term goals and objectives by partnering and collaborating with the Executive Team
- Consult and coach all levels of management to build effective organizational structures and serve high performing, diverse and inclusive teams. Increase depth to our culture and cascade KPIs
- Enhance and update Company handbook, policies and guiding principles to ensure a solid operational foundation while promoting company culture, mission & core values
- Assist all departments in talent acquisition and full cycle recruitment

**Learning & Development**
- Identify new, effective and efficient training solutions while continually assessing existing requirements
- Initiate coaching of individuals with growth and leadership potentials to reinforce retention

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Develop and administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance reviews/plan to remain equitable and competitive
- Research and identify new rewards & recognition strategies to continually enhance employee engagement and motivation
- Process bi-weekly payroll through Ceridian

**Employee Relations**
- Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers, including performance management, learning and development, compensation programs and all aspects of employee relations
- Build credibility and trust among employees; resolve employee concerns with compassion and follow-through
- **Who You Are**_
- Post Secondary Diploma/Degree in Human Resources is required.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources/people-leadership experience is required.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) Designation is preferred
- Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in matrixed, fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environments.
- Demonstrated experience with coaching employees and management through complex and difficult issues, including conducting investigations
- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication; must be a clear and concise communicator

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
