**Job Summary**:
**The Peer Support Program Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and coordination of Foundry Abbotsford’s Youth and Family Peer Support program. The position will collaborate with the Foundry Manager and the Foundry Central Office to support implementation of the programs, while coordinating daily program activities and services. The program supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to youth and family peer support workers, promoting integration and collaboration with other Foundry services. This position will also work with Foundry Central Office to coordinate and implement program research and evaluation activities. The Supervisor ensures that quality peer support services are provided and customized to address youth and family needs and preferences, and that promote continuous quality improvement for the program. The Peer Support Program Supervisor collaborates with related health and social support services and other relevant community resources, and participates actively in the Foundry provincial network and related working groups and events.**

The Supervisor will also oversee and coordinate the School Ambassador Program and is involved with youth and family empowerment activities.

**Your Role**:
Archway’s Peer Support Program Supervisor with Foundry Abbotsford contributes by:

- Coordinating the day-to-day youth and family peer support program activities.
- Coordinating staff scheduling and peer support programming.
- Providing day-to-day supervision, coaching and mentorship for youth and family peer support workers, including direct supervision including performance evaluation and management.
- Working closely with leaders of partner agencies and other community services as appropriate.
- Engaging in ongoing evaluation and quality improvement initiatives related to youth and family peer support service delivery to ensure a quality, effective family and client-centred practice.
- Providing program specific orientation, and supporting peer learning, development and training for staff as needed.
- Ensuring best practices, and Foundry’s model for Youth and Family Peer Support programs, training and standards are implemented and followed.
- Responding to and providing support to peer support team members during critical incidents and high-risk situations.
- Representing Foundry Abbotsford in the community and delivering public presentations.

**Our Offer**
- Wage: $29 to 31 per hour
- A full-time position at 35 hours per week.

**Getting an Interview - you will be considered if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Health or a related field, OR a level of education, training, and/or combination of equivalent experience.
- Relevant employment experience in peer support.
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Experience with developing and implementing projects, and supporting the design and delivery of peer support programs a significant asset.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary health care teams and primary care a significant asset.

**The Job Requires you to have**:

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Record. Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License considered an asset.
- Extensive knowledge and skills related to peer support practice and principles of recovery.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of best practices related to community health, including but not limited to peer support, recovery, harm reduction, stepped care, cultural safety and youth and family centered care.
- Staff mentoring and development skills, ability to lead a positive working environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, database programs, and other software programs.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Emergency First Aid and CPR (Child and Adult) is a condition of employment.
- Satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance is a condition of employment.
- Covid vaccination is required.
