**Summary**: Coordinates all freight and shipping of company-owned assets, heavy construction equipment, third-party assets, and small tools by utilizing both internal and external trucking.

**Requirements**:

- Evaluates necessary port capacities in accordance with different project site needs.
- Coordinates required port and road upgrades in accordance with trailer dimensions with port owners and local (regional and municipal) authorities.
- Plans and facilitate storage of components at ports.
- Proposes other nearby storage solutions if port capacities prove insufficient.
- Manages road surveys with chosen turbine manufacturers and third-party suppliers.
- Assists in contract management with transporters.
- Follow-up on transporter’s necessary transport permits, and necessary escorts.
- Facilitates the shipping of products and equipment from one destination to another.
- Manages and coordinates vessel arrivals, transportation, and deliveries to meet project site demands with little or no delay.
- Develops and submits proposal requests.
- Submits purchase orders to 3rd party shipping vendors as appropriate.
- Creates bills of lading to ensure loads are accurate.
- Manages both internal and external trucking to ensure the most cost-effective option is utilized.
- Partners with field resources to ensure all freight is properly inspected and signed for on project sites.
- Coordinates driver schedules to ensure high utilization of fleet with very little empty backhauling.
- Partners with Coordinators on available equipment deliveries and pickups.
- Maintains registrations and insurance cards for all fleet.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Maintains registrations and insurance cards for all fleet.
- Takes initiative and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Responsible to ensure SAFETY requirements met.
- Must be able to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers, and supervisors.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

**Qualifications**:

- High school/GED required.
- 2+ years of technical school or college preferred.
- 5+ years of office invoicing experience
- Freight Brokers license is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers, and supervisors.
- Intermediate experience in Excel.
- Intermediate experience in accounting database systems.
- Basic office procedure experience.
- Basic experience in fleet/equipment management programs.
- Working knowledge of HCSS E360 equipment management software is preferred.
- Previous fleet experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- Functional competencies include accountability, communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and teamwork.

**Anticipated base salary range**: $66,000 - $76,000

The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

**Physical requirements and environment**:

Constantly: Reading, grasping, hearing, reaching, vision, repetitive motion, and sitting is required.

Rarely exposed to extreme cold, heat, humidity, and wet climates, in the working environment.

Occasionally exposed to noise and hazards in the work environment.
