**About us**

At Willow Tree Mind & Wellness we specialize in teaching children and youth Social Emotional Learning skills (SELs), Self-Compassion, and Mindfulness skills to promote Mental Health & Wellness in fun and creative ways We offer a wide range of clinical programs to help our clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, teach vital skills and help them live a values driven life. We believe in a holistic and individualized approach to therapy and provide specialized programming for neurodivergent children and youth with Autism and ADHD. We know that children learn best through fun, creative and hands on methods of teaching - all of our programming teaches evidence-based concepts through fun and interactive methods

We are a small clinic that is growing and expanding within the scarborough area We are looking to grow our unique clinical team consisting of Social workers, Board Certified Behaviour Analysts and Child & Youth Therapists to provide quality mental health and behavioural services to the children and youth of this region

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Master's of Social Work (MSW)
- Registered Social worker (RSW) with the OCSWSSW.
- At least 1 year experience working with children and youth in a clinical capacity.
- Experience facilitating group-based therapy programs for children & youth.
- Experience providing 1:1 therapy with children, youth and families.
- Experience developing curriculums and individualize programming from current evidence-based methods.
- Experience with clients with Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and mental health challenges (anxiety, low self-esteem, negative thoughts, emotional dysregulation, depression and more).
- Experience using a variety of therapeutic interventions based on client need.
- a love for working with children and youth, and a compassionate, fun and energetic teaching style is a must
- Foundational knowledge of ACT, mindfulness and third wave cognitive behavioural therapies would be an asset.
- Fun, open-minded and non-judgmental attitude
- Open to collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals (Behaviour Analysts, Teachers, etc.)
- Passionate about ongoing learning and professional growth, open to growing with our agency

**Responsibilities**
- Implementing 1:1 therapeutic programming with children, youth, young adults and supporting families.
- Supervising Jr. social workers on 1:1 cases
- Providing clinical supervision to group based programs.
- Curriculum development individualized programming from current, evidence-based methods.
- Parent coaching and collaborative problem solving.
- Leading, training and providing clinical support and supervision to staff.
- Completing session notes/logs organized and stored safely.
- Basic data collection and progress tracking.
- Assessment and report writing.
- Advocating for clients, liaising with schools and other professionals.
- Dedication to professional development.

**This is an independent contractor position, primarily we are looking to fill afterschool and evening time slots but we also do have daytime availability options and Saturday mornings.**

As we continue to grow full time employment may be an option in the future
