The Operations Manager will utilize their exceptional management skills and methods to improve the efficiency of company operations in pursuit of corporate objectives. The Operations Manager is responsible for the direct management and planning of goods and materials for consumption or use by the organization. This includes creating specific forecasts for items over a given time span, which shall be used for inventory management purposes, strategic ordering, and vendor selection. This role will oversee inventory management and order fulfillment within the organization as well.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Demand Planning**:Plan and prepare production schedules for the manufacturing of products - draws up a master schedule to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Assist in the maintenance of MRP
- **Co-packer setup and management as required**
- **COGS Budget Setting and Controlling**:Develop plan, methodology, and execution of cost reduction
- **Customer Service**: Manage and fully optimize PO/Invoicing system against KPIs
- **Freight & Logistics**:Identify, plan, and negotiate ingredient buying and manage inventory/storage and movement of inventory around the country in line with budget
- **Quality Control**:Ensures quality controls, product safety, regulatory compliance, and compliance with company standards as stated in the Quality Assurance Manual.
- **Performance Management & Org Design**: recommends, hires, onboards, and management of the Ops team. Develop and report KPI’s to the leadership team. Create relevant SOP’s for the operations department. Work with internal team and consultants to create redundancy in operations.
- **Planning**: Assist in developing and monitoring the operational budget; Manage the day-to-day activities of the operations department. Support Month end-close process.
- BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Operations and/or another relevant degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of planning experience including master production scheduling, detailed production scheduling, and capacity evaluation.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, reference formulas, VBA, and macro creation.
- Strong track record of creating supply chain excellence

- Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain neutrality

- Self-starter and possess a positive attitude, able to influence others
