**SERVICES and SUPPORTS ASSISTANT**

**One-year contract

- The ability to multitask and manage a diversified and demanding workload while remaining conscientious about the quality of work is ideal as well as the ability to develop and maintain a supportive working relationship with all team members.
- Knowledge of and proficient use of computers/databases such as but not limited to: AIMS, SURGE, Microsoft Suite, WaterON, for the purpose of monitoring
- Ability to navigate SSC, review/approve time cards, run reports
- Performs all typing, filing and uploading related to the position, including confidential matter
- Ensures that agendas and/or minutes for required meetings are distributed ie. Services Meetings, Management Meetings, and other meetings as needed/requested
- Knowledge of responsibilities around the organization and storage of agency documentation as per QAM (Quality Assurance Measures)
- Demonstrates effective time management skills (tasks/goals completed by target dates/timelines).
- Prepares various reports as requested by the Director of Services
- Attends various meetings with Director of Services to take minutes as needed and requested
- Is available to set up, organize special functions, conferences, workshops, engagement forums for Director of Services
- Demonstrates positive and professional relationships with employees, families, people supported, community stakeholders
- Role model/lead by example with instilling a positive workplace culture
- Liaison and Interacts with people we support, employees, families, and all community stakeholders in a respectful and positive manner.
- **Reports to the Director of Services
**Professional Qualifications**:

- An Administrative Assistant College Diploma or combination of education and experience.
- Five years Administrative experience.
- Proficient in computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, Outlook, AIMS, SSC, Surge.
- Experience in recording and preparing minutes of meetings and independently preparing draft documents and letters that are ‘signature ready’.
- Ability to type with a minimum of 60 words per minute.
- A valid driver’s license and maintenance of an acceptable driving record is an asset.
