Victim Services Worker

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Victim Services of Algoma, to support the needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstance and provide a full range of trauma-informed, victim-centered supportive services, including needs assessment, crisis intervention, case coordination, information sharing, emotional support and referrals to other community services.
Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and up to date CPIC check.
To provide crisis response to victims of crime and tragic circumstance in the Sault Ste. Mari and surrounding area. Response can be provided remotely or in person. Applicant will be expected to provide 8 hours/day during the regular work week, in office/remote to provide service. After hours and weekend assistance may also be required.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $36,961.60 per year
