**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Published on Main is eagerly seeking a passionate and driven General Manager to lead our team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As the General Manager you are the driving force behind the venue’s performance and operations, with a strong emphasis on financial health and overseeing the team of FOH managers. This role requires strategic vision, keen financial acumen, and exceptional leadership abilities.

**STRATEGY**
- Set and implement overarching strategies for service excellence, operations, guest relations, marketing, and team development in collaboration with department directors and the leadership team.

**FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT**

- Direct comprehensive financial management, including weekly reporting, budgeting, labor management, and forecasting.
- Make strategic adjustments to maintain and enhance financial performance and health.

**SPACE & OPERATIONS**
- Oversee ordering, inventory, supplies, and organizational processes.
- Collaborate with department leads and directors to develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with cleaners and oversee linen orders to maintain a functional space.
- Oversee the upkeep and functionality of all restaurant equipment, furniture, and fixtures ensuring regular maintenance and coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.

**TEAM MANAGEMENT**
- Lead and support the team of FOH managers, ensuring effective role execution.
- Facilitate the successful integration and productivity of new FOH managers.
- Drive the development and performance management of FOH managers.
- Collaborate with the AGM to support broader employee performance initiatives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance, and encouraging open communication and feedback.
- Oversee FOH management schedules, approving hours and time off requests.

**RISK & COMPLIANCE**
- Maintain compliance standards by developing and enforcing policies and procedures in line with local laws and regulations.
- Conduct safety and sanitation inspections.
- Implement security measures for products, people, and property.

- 3-5+ years prior experience leading a team in a high caliber restaurant.
