**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Information Management, this position will lead all Division-wide records governance activities and be responsible for improving the protection of sensitive records and information assets.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**:
- establishing the Division's information and data governance implementation roadmap
- rolling out a Division-wide information and data governance framework with a focus on data quality and protection of sensitive records
- ensuring retention and disposition schedules for all Division records are developed and maintained
- developing of information security for physical and digital records to meet approved standards
- managing the centralized storage facility and ensuring proper controls and security are in place
- developing and publishing procedures to ensure consistency for the storing of records
- ensuring the final disposition of records is coordinated and signed off to provide an audit trail
- identifying vital records for the Division
- serving as a liaison between central departments, schools and functional areas
- facilitating the development and implementation of information and data quality standards across the Division
- defining indicators of performance and quality metrics
**Education/Qualifications**:
- a diploma in Information and Records Management
- a minimum of three years related experience
- experience in management of digital record assets
- ability to develop and implement records and data governance framework, quality control and policy design and implementation
- experience in the implementation of enterprise information maps including authoritative systems and owners
- knowledge of administrative policies, procedures and regulations
- Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
**Rate of Pay**:
$2,502.50 - $3,192.70 bi-weekly
