**About the Role**:
We’re searching for a Dental Office Manager who is passionate about positively leading the team while providing the best patient experience possible. We are looking for an optimistic, efficient, and capable manager who truly understands the art of leadership and wants to see the entire team succeed

**Location**: 4399 Bannantyne Ave, Verdun, Quebec

**Hours**: Monday-Thursday

As the clinic Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations. This will include responsibilities such as general office administration, employee relations, scheduling/payroll, and patient (customer) service. You will act as the liaison between the clinical team, the patients, and the Regional Operations Manager overseeing the practice’s performance.
- Responsible for efficient patient flow and scheduling that optimizes provider time, overseeing patient care coordination, patient scheduling and management, and staff scheduling and management.
- Ensure that the clinical team is trained and complies with office policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to provincial regulations, practice standards, and policies relevant to the dental profession.
- Ensure that the office delivers optimal levels of continuity between patient and service provider.
- Motivate the team to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals, and actively seek opportunities to improve practice performance and growth.
- Manage human resources functions at the clinic level in consultation with the human resources team, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, terminations, employee relations, performance reviews, and health and safety compliance.
- Motivate and coach the team to provide outstanding patient service, and facilitate team meetings in a positive manner.
- Monitor monthly production, cash receipts, and practice growth.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to send to the Regional Operations Manager.
- Assist dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Ensure that the office is maintaining accurate record keeping such as updating and maintaining client dental records and appointments.
- Act as the office administrator and treatment coordinator as required (extra help as needed or during vacations or sick leave, for example).
- Assume other related responsibilities as required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience leading a team, preferably in the dental environment.
- Well-versed in dental office-related health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attentive to detail, organized, and reliable.
- Competent computer skills (digital office environment), experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Expert-level experience using dental practice software (Dentitek.)
- Asset: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist
- Asset: Additional leadership or business-related certification or training is an asset
