**Job Duties**:
**Teaching Performance**
- Teach a course load appropriate to the field of Esthetics
- Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning
- Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student’s needs.
- Employ available instructional tools and technology when appropriate.
- Encourage the development of communication skills and higher order thinking skills through appropriate assignments.
- Contribute to the selection and development of instructional materials in accordance with course objectives.
- Maintain the classroom instructor including all equipment in the classroom salon.
- Stay updated about changes and innovations in your field

**Evaluation of Student Learning**
- Establish and follow meaningful learning objectives.
- Develop and explain methods that fairly measure student progress toward course objectives.
- Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student work promptly to promote maximum learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grades to Campus Manager according to established deadlines.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and circumstances.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Have 48 months of work experience in the Business and Accounting areas
- Have 36 months of teaching experience in the vocation and 24 months work experience in the vocation
- Have 24 months work experience in the vocation and **AND**:

- Hold a Bachelor degree from a Canadian university or an equivalent degree in related discipline
- Graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent
- Graduate of a registered PCC or equivalent

**Knowledge and Skills required**:

- Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.
- Display an ability to interpret and evaluate the theories of their field or discipline.
- Flexible to commute to the campus to teach the required program.
- Learn and use technology to enhance teaching and the educational experience when appropriate.
