Njoyn is seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Therapist to become a part of our educational team in the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences – Athletic Therapy program. We are looking for a part-time instructor to lead the ATHL30000 Emergency Conditions 3 - Advanced Skills course. In this course, students will engage with high-fidelity simulation manikins that replicate injured athletes in various emergency situations. Students will implement all necessary emergency protocols on the manikins and reflect on their actions through structured debriefing sessions. Collaborative group work will focus on different treatment strategies for injured athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating course content in both classroom and online settings, ensuring students are aware of course objectives, methodologies, and assessment criteria;
- Providing tutoring and academic support to students, while monitoring their progress and taking responsibility for evaluating their performance in assigned courses;
- Establishing, assessing, and validating learning outcomes, and designing effective strategies and tools for evaluating student learning;
- Creating personalized instruction and multimedia presentations, integrating technology into the educational experience where relevant;
- Participating in regular faculty meetings.

- Certified Athletic Therapist with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an Athletic Therapy environment or a related discipline;
- Certified First Responder Instructor from a recognized organization, with 3 to 5 years of experience in providing on-field medical coverage for sports;
- Advanced expertise in Emergency Medicine;
- Hands-on experience in Athletic Therapy;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat;
- Experience in teaching and curriculum design at the post-secondary level or equivalent experience as a trainer in Healthcare.
