WSP is currently searching for a Project Manager to work as an integral part of our Water & Wastewater Infrastructure team, based in Thornhill.

WSP places the health & safety of our employees as our number-one priority. We understand that employees will be based from home, with the possibility of occasional site-visits as we navigate through these uncertain times. As we transition back to an in-office work environment, members of our teams will be expected to access one of WSP’s regional offices throughout Ontario.

As a Project Manager, you will bring strong professional experience in working on the design of water & wastewater infrastructure projects for several major clients - typically Regional Municipalities, Cities and Townships throughout Ontario. You will have experience in managing project financials and you will be someone who naturally wants to help mentor and develop your colleagues.

This is an opportunity to work with a progressive team, on a broad scope of projects.

**A day in the life**:

- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction by ensuring that project outputs meet client expectations, and ensure that clients are fully consulted and apprised of progress, issues, and related solutions at key project stages;
- Manage and direct multi-disciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and construction;
- Thrive in a team environment with the ability to develop innovative design and planning solutions and proactively manage interactions with other team members;
- Provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team on design calculations, process and equipment selection, specifications, and contract document preparation;
- Provide technical advisory services to clients for water and wastewater services;
- Deliver engineering projects in accordance with client requirements and in line with company and industry best practice;
- Prepare analyses, reports, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, presentations, and reports as required;
- Work with our Marketing Team to develop win strategies and contribute to the preparation of high quality and strategic proposals
- Develop and maintain a network of technical/professional support within WSP and the industry;
- Preparation of project invoices and financial reporting, and;
- Other duties as assigned.
