You will help architect and implement Microsoft technologies for customers who are investing in the Microsoft security journey. You will be a part of a team who implements a suite of products including eSentire’s Microsoft Security offerings. You will report directly to the Director of Technical Onboarding, who oversee’s all onboarding and tuning of our various security products, including our Microsoft offering. You will be working with an established team that work across a variety of technologies, but you will be bringing your Microsoft, Azure and general cloud security knowledge to the table as one of the Microsoft SME’s.

**You may be a fit if**:

- You understand the value that Managed Detection and Response players bring to the market and how they differentiate from traditional MSSPs.
- You are well versed in the Microsoft’s M365 Defender security ecosystem with systems design experience with products like Microsoft’s Defender for Endpoint (formerly Microsoft Defender ATP), Microsoft Defender for Identity (formerly Azure ATP), Microsoft Defender for O365 (formerly O365 ATP), Azure Sentinel to create positive security outcomes for customers
- You have a strong background in configuring security technologies including, but not limited to, identity and information protection, endpoint management, SIEM, and CASB

**Responsibilities**:

- Architect and implement technologies to prevent, detect and respond to threats on Microsoft Security platforms providing successful security outcomes to customers
- Document deployment best practices and create automation scripts for onboarding new customers into eSentire’s Microsoft MDR solution.
- Provide support for sales and technical pre-sales opportunities in collaboration with eSentire’s Sales team for Microsoft security portfolio opportunities with end customers
- Collaborate with the security research teams across the company to improve the quality of service delivered
- Develop, maintain and implement best practices for Microsoft security platforms

What experience would be useful in this role?
- Experience with Azure AD based identity solutions:

- Azure AD SSO
- ADFS
- Conditional Access
- PIM and PAM
- Azure AD Connect
- Azure Identity Governance
- Experience with Microsoft Defender 365 (Device Security, Compliance, Messaging Security, DLP)
- Experience with Azure Security Center/Azure Defender
- Experience with MS Graph API

What education and certification credentials would be useful for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering or information systems related field)
- Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS100 or related experience)
- Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (MS101 or related experience)
- Microsoft 365 Security Administration (MS500
