THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality & Safety Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the organization and its employees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Quality & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:
**Quality Management**:

- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate ISO 9001 activities to ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and promote best practices to meet quality objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate the Corrective Action Process and ensure closure and effectiveness.
- Provide quality training for all employees.

**Safety Management**:

- Co-chair the Occupational Health & Safety Committee.
- Coordinate Competency programs including training programs.
- Conduct worksite safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Document and maintain all Safe Work Practices.
- Adhere to applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Champion all 3rd party external health and safety audits.

**Systems Control**:

- Perform audits to compare products, processes, and services against standards.
- Maintain safety & quality on the Operations floor through audits and training.
- Report and correct potential safety issues to prevent recurrence.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the Quality & Safety Manager, you will bring:

- 3-5 years' experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and quality system concepts.
- Post secondary education such as University/College degree or technical diploma preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety & quality processes and safety systems (OH&C Level 1 and 2)
- Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor’s certificate is an asset.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Maintain reliable attendance and practice safe work habits.
