RECEPTIONIST (part-time) at The Midwifery Group

The Midwifery Group is a fast paced midwifery clinic in East Vancouver. We provide prenatal, labour and delivery and postpartum care to families in Vancouver. Our clinic has 11 midwives, acupuncture, massage therapy, lactation consultants and pelvic floor physiotherapy.

**DUTIES**
- Greet and assist clients and visitors as they arrive at the office.
- Manage incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
- Ensure the clinic is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Maintain clinic supplies inventory.
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and provide information about services offered.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Superior people skills
- Familiarity with computers (on the job training in our EMS system provided)
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient typing skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Flexible schedule to help with vacation coverage

**HOURS**
- 3 days a week (Fridays required, requests for other days will be considered)
- 18-24 hours per week
- Hours to be between 8:30 and 4:30 pm (must be able to stay until 4:30 pm)
- Availability to help cover staff holidays required

**WAGE**
- $19/hour for training, $20/hour after training
