**Position Summary**:

- Professional IT consultant in the field of software engineering focused on SERVICE VIRTUALISATION to support testing, working in a geographically spread team for one of the Big Five Canadian Banks.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain virtual service images and models
- Recommend opportunities for enhancing productivity and operational efficiency through virtualization
- Coordinate performance tests within virtual service environment
- Create test scenarios for web services in RESTAssured, SOATest or other tools
- Document processes and procedures for virtual assets and test scenarios
- Optimize and tune virtual service images for performance
- Follow appropriate change control processes and version control for virtual assets
- Enhance virtual service images/models with data for testing purposes
- Assist with estimates and strategy planning for virtual service development
- Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
- Work effectively in a team to achieve project/business objectives and provide client services
- Have an advanced understanding of testing technologies, software development processes, and documentation repository practices and procedures
- Have advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills, and be familiar with industry and/or business trends
- Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation, and teamwork. Ensure timely communication of points of interest.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

**Skills Required (mandatory)**:

- 6+ Years of experience as SDET, with at least 3 plus year experience in Service Virtualization
- Highly proficient and experienced in Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP, REST/JSON - 4 years)
- Knowledge and working experience of markup languages like XML and JSON
- Knowledge and working experience of Beanshell, Python, or other scripting languages(react, javascript, typescript) (3 years)
- Advanced knowledge of software development and project management life cycle, testing technologies and development methodologies, and defect management practices
- Experience in Java (or other object-oriented programming languages)
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in version control software (MKS Integrity, GIT)
- Experience in Service Virtualization - (CA Lisa/Broadcom DevTest, MounteBank, Parasoft Virtualize, Wiremock)
- Solid knowledge of querying languages (SQL) - (3 years)

Must have authorization to work in Canada.
Must be willing to relocate to Atlantic Canada if currently outside.
