As the newest _**Rail Operator**_ for **K-Bro Linen Systems**(K-BRO), you will be based out of our centrally located facility in **Burnaby at 8035 Enterprise Street**, just off Lougheed Highway (near Lake City Skytrain Station). This modern commercial laundry facility underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade in 2018 and services some of the largest and most recognized global hotel brands located in the Greater Vancouver area and Whistler.

**POSITION TITLE: Rail Operator**
Location: Burnaby, BC (8035 Enterprise St.)
**Shift: 10Hours
- 4 days per week, must be able to work at least one day on weekend**
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Operate and manage the clean **laundry rail system** in a way that optimizes upstream production capacity, and maximizes downstream throughput while ensuring that finished goods are ready for an on-time departure
- Constantly communicate with Production Managers, Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure that the production sequence is maximizing throughput and meeting on-time departures
- Ensure the production sequencing as set-up by the Production Monorail Operator is minimizing idle time for both equipment and staff
- Understand tunnel washer load sequence, soil rail system, soil sort loads, dryer line/shuttle system and dryer clean rail systems
- Monitors any system faults and corrects faults to ensure production goals are achieved
- Follows processing sequence of hotel accounts to maintain scheduled delivery times
- Ensure equipment is working properly and report to maintenance department any required repairs
- Move linen from rail to drop stations
- Corrects system faults on MLA’s, dryers, shuttle, and conveyor belts.
- Perform any other assigned tasks requested by Supervisor/ Managers
**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:
- Sound understanding of production and production sequencing
- Ability to adapt, improvise and solve problems with the unexpected happens and priorities change
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and overtime
**Wage Range**:
