**Title: Receiving & Inventory Coordinator**

**Job Summary**

The Receiver/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and materials. It also involves monitoring inventory data, conducting regular audits/cycle counts, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory processes. Supports the shipper, CSR, and other groups with floor & team coordination.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Inbound / Inventory Activities**
- Unload shipments and verify the contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Check for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments, including quantities, descriptions, and supplier information.
- Accurately input inventory data into the management system, ensuring real-time tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that all goods received meet quality standards and are documented and stored as per SOP.
- Assist in training new team members in inventory procedures and software.

**2. General Responsibilities /Documentation and compliance**
- Liaise with CSR, warehouse staff and outside carriers to provide efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Organize Inbound loads orders and arrange carriers to meet customer expectations on on-time delivery goal of 99.5%.
- Ensure all documentation, schedules and checklists are completed daily.
- Constantly monitor volume demand and recommend to Supervisor any efficiencies that can be gained, or additional workforce or equipment resources required.
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with the Company policy, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support supervisor for day-to-day co-ordination of workflow and special projects as required.
- Take the lead as “acting Team-Lead” for warehouse staff when Team Lead is away. Similarly, as Shipper coordinator as needed.
- Work closely with other departments, such as customer service and warehouse team, to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and implement the best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- 2 years’ experience in an industrial / commercial customer service/warehouse environment is required.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory management required.
- Experience in a 3PL environment is considered a strong asset.

**Qualifications/Abilities**
- Able to operate various types of Machine handling equipment. (Standup counterbalance, narrow aisle reach truck, Sit down counterbalance, double jack, etc.,)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
