**Customer Service & Quotes Associate**
**Location: Full Time Office Based, Toronto (Allen/Sheppard)**

Beta Calco is seeking a dynamic Customer Service & Quotes Associate to join its team. The individual will be a key contact for customer orders, quotation inquiries, complaints, and compliments. The individual will work as a liaison between Beta-Calco’s Agents, Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s), and our Internal Team.
**Compensation is commensurate with experience**
**Job Requirements**
- Process customer orders within 24 hours of approval and send order confirmations.
- Provide accurate quotations to agents
- Work with engineering and new product development teams on custom and product modification quotes and ensure approval drawings are submitted by engineers
- Process order changes according to established company policies and procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate information in support of customer order status and product performance inquiries from Agents and (RSM’s).
- Perform courtesy calls to ensure previous requests and/or problems were resolved satisfactorily.
- Manage the distribution and storage of samples required by RSM’s.
- Monitor production order status and schedules and expedite delivery per customer requests, notify agents of any delays.
- Be capable of reading, understanding, explaining, and responding to customer contract Terms and Conditions and other Order/Contract attachments.
- Evaluate agents’ project requirements and provide advice on product selections.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company website features to provide assistance to RSM’s and Agents.
- Provide Agents with product solutions or alternatives within the scope of their project and within their budgeting requirements.
- Investigate warranty issues and claims. Maintain detailed warranty files for documentation.
- Inform the accounting department of new customers that require setting up and/or credit checks
- Provide timely feedback to the company regarding warranty issues, service failures or customers concerns and manage RMA’s for re-work.
- Work closely with all departments to understand issues and limitations that may compromise lead times or limit product offering. Communicate information effectively to RSM’s or Reps.
- Partner with Marketing, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering and Shipping to fulfill and exceed customers’ expectations.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- University degree or College Diploma. Engineering Degrees are highly welcome.
- Experience in customer service, and or the manufacturing sector an asset
- Experience with CRM preferable
- Technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret basic engineering and design data
- Strong organizational aptitude, detail oriented and excellent time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel Skills critical
- Team player; self-motivated; decisive
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the lighting industry an asset
