**Financial Analyst**

The **Financial Analyst** will play a key role in a dynamic and committed team, where each individual’s contribution has a direct impact on the success of LHG. Reporting to the Manager Finance, and based in one of our Toronto corporate headquarters, the Financial Analyst will have the following ongoing responsibilities:
**General accounting**:

- Prepare monthly bank entries and reconciliations for multiple legal entities by gathering and validating financial information;
- Prepare and record daily and monthly revenue entries from various billing systems; follow-up with operations if financial data is not submitted within specified timelines; inform financial reporting team of potential delays;
- Assist with monthly close by preparing and recording adjusting entries;
- Prepare month-end related working papers such as transaction costs, accrued liabilities, minority interest and inter-company interest.

**Financial reporting**:

- Assist with the preparation of income tax related working papers for both legacy legal entities as well as acquisitions;
- Assist with year-end audits;
- Ad-hoc projects such as implementation of new reporting system, assisting the Finance team with process improvement initiatives, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Completed a university degree in Accounting and pursuing a CPA designation;
- Attention to detail and accuracy, highly motivated with demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently;
- Advanced excel skills;
- Experience working with accounting software (ACCPAC preferred but not required).
