**About Move Me Foundation**:
The Move Me Foundation is a non-profit, charitable, and volunteer-based organization founded in 2019. Our mission is to create accessible, integrated, high-quality mental health and wellness services for individuals and communities.

As a Human Resources Specialist - Board Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Move Me Foundation’s mission by leveraging your HR expertise to guide and enhance our human resources strategies and practices. You will collaborate with other board members and the executive team to ensure the effective management of our organization's human capital.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **HR Strategy**: Collaborate with the board and staff to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and vision.
- **Talent Acquisition**: Oversee the recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- **Employee Engagement**: Implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, employee development, and engagement.
- **HR Policy and Compliance**: Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- **Performance Management**: Oversee the performance appraisal and feedback processes.
- **Diversity and Inclusion**:Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- **HR Administration**: Provide HR expertise and oversight, ensuring HR resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- **Strategic Planning**: Contribute to the overall development and execution of the organization's strategic plan, leveraging your HR knowledge and experience.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Prior board experience or an understanding of board governance is desirable.

**Board Membership Fees**:
Please note that board members are expected to contribute a membership fee to support the operational needs of the foundation. This fee will be used to ensure the sustainability of the organization. The specific amount will be discussed during the interview process.
