Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Clerk is accountable for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payables from the Vernon Office Departments from receipt of invoice to final payment. This position is responsible for verifying accounts from suppliers, making sure that payments are in the correct currency, are coded correctly, discounts taken, payments processed on time and in correct financial period for payables received.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- You employ attention to detail to maintain a high level of accuracy while performing large volumes of data-entry on a daily basis;
- Through teamwork, you will collaborate with other members of the Accounts Payable team to meet data-entry deadlines and perform other related duties as required;
- Using your excellent interpersonal skills, you will provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Business/Accounting or related post-secondary training;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external clients;
