**Autolist of Canada** is seeking a new salesperson to join our established sales team. In this role, you will help grow our sales and expand our customer base, contributing to our rapid growth.

**Objectives of this Role**
- Represent our brand in a professional, successful manner that results in repeat business and a positive customer experience
- Identify lead opportunities, as well as the potential for upsells
- Maintain or surpass sales quota expectations
- Speak with customers to understand their needs and resolve any issues
- Negotiating terms and payment options with clients
- Keeping all sales records stored for inventory processing
- Accompanying clients on test drives
- Assessing the value of trade-in vehicles
- Preparing all sales or lease paperwork and ensuring these will be processed and stored accordingly

**Daily and Monthly Responsibilities**
- Regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products and services for them
- Effectively utilize industry software and technology to improve the customer experience
- Participate in training and seek opportunities to improve operations
- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features.
- Cultivates buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers and suggesting trade-ins.
- Turns customers into buyers by matching them with their ideal car.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding their requirements and interests and matching these interests to various car models.
- Demonstrates vehicle features and takes customers on test drives.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining warranties and services.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating prices, and completing sales and purchasing contracts.
- Provides sales management information by completing reports.
- Assists with the setup of the showroom and displays.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, while contributing to team-wide efforts
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and verbal
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong product knowledge with skills to properly relay information to clients
- Excellent ability to read consumers and gauge their product needs
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a good relationship with them

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1-3 years’ sales experience, ideally within our industry
- Familiarity with relevant sales software and technology
- Sharp negotiation and time management skills

**Compensation**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winnipeg, MB R2C 3A7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
