**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
You will be responsible for analyzing, planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders for parts and services required in production and for managing component non-conformances.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Work closely with the production planners and buyers to ensure the availability of parts when creating and launching production orders
- Order parts, merchandise and other products and services required for production
- Liaise between the procurement and purchasing departments to ensure that the correct parameters are used and that feedback is provided to suppliers as required
- Update your metrics and implement action plans for those that do not meet standards
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Take charge of the logistics of the inputs on the US side
- Send stock and non-stock purchase orders and follow up on them;
- Ensure a rigorous follow-up with suppliers and follow-up on late deliveries
- Manage merchandise returns and claims with suppliers
- Manage maritime expenses with the finance department
- See to the respect of the inventory levels of the components for which you are responsible as well as optimize the rotation of the stocks

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC in Administrative Techniques or AEC in Supply Management combined with relevant work experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Procurement tools and methods
- Knowledge of procurement in a manufacturing system (ERP)
- Tools and best business practices in procurement and continuous improvement
- Ability to work under pressure, in a team and within tight deadlines
- Leadership, commitment and respect for commitments
- Organized, autonomous, analytical, able to synthesize and take initiative
- Ability to manage priorities
