Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for providing strategic alignment to the purchasing department and coordinating the team's efforts to meet objectives. You will also participate in the improvement of our business processes by identifying opportunities related to the purchasing and supply cycle.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Lead, support and work closely with the purchasing team members (4 buyers)
- Take charge of strategic orders and develop purchasing scenarios to maximize return on investment
- Actively participate in the procurement logistics committee
- Work in close collaboration with the forecasting team to establish strategies to increase inventory turnover while reaching our completion rate objectives
- Take charge of the follow-up of problematic suppliers
- Implement indicators to measure performance at all stages of the purchasing process
- Collaborate with the development team and the product management team to establish procurement strategies with our suppliers
- Negotiate commercial agreements with our suppliers in order to clearly define the business rules to ensure the proper functioning of our internal processes and meet the department's objectives
- Implement a supplier evaluation system to measure performance, communicate our expectations and develop corrective measures as needed
- Analyze the market situation and price evolution
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures

**DESIRED PERSONAL SKILLS**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or supply chain management training
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement and/or logistics
- Good knowledge of the characteristics of an efficient supply chain
- Fluency in French and English
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of the D365 integrated management system (an asset)
- Ability to work in a team, collaborate and communicate effectively
- Analytical/mathematical skills
- Mobilizing leadership
