**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the effective, efficient and accurate operation of the Literacy and Basic Skills information management systems as well as any associated record keeping, registrations, and reporting required to support the Literacy and Basic Skills program. The incumbent will ensure protection and privacy of all student information gathered is keep secured and confidential.
- Develop, initiate and maintain information tracking systems relating to student records, including maintenance of the MLITSD database EOIS-CaMS and the collection of departmental statistics including, coordinating the collection and processing of client information with community-based Essential Skills facilitators and Academic Upgrading learners.
- Utilize the student record system (Banner) database for student registrations, creation of Course Registration Numbers, confirming and transferring course CRNs from term to term.
- Determine eligibility, prepare and approve and Training and Support Allowance for Academic Upgrading students utilizing the Learning Management Platform DC Connect, ensuring compliance with MLITSD guidelines. Liaise with Accounting and Payroll as to the distribution of TSA funds on a bi-weekly basis.
- Compile statistical data for Ministry required follow-ups on clients at 3, 6, and 12 month intervals and record data into the EOIS-CaMS database by developing and maintaining computer system to track students starts, exits and outcomes for the purpose of reporting to MLITSD.
- Provide shared responsibility for contact for the office, answering inquiries from potential students with regards to college programs and services and other agencies outside of the College system.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a three-year diploma/degree in Office or Business Administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years of work experience with detailed knowledge of and proven ability in the use of the EOIS-CaMS Ministry database.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations is an asset.
- Knowledge of Banner student information system.
- Familiarity with Literacy & Basic Skills policies and guidelines.
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
- Strong customer service skills required.
