**About the Team**:
Our Insurance Services Team supports our Wealth Advisors and clients with accurate, timely, and expert insurance knowledge and administrative services. With an increased focus on insurance planning, this team is expected to grow over the coming years.

**Purpose of the Role**:
As an Insurance Planning Associate, you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders, clients, and insurance carriers. You prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline driven environment while always maintaining your professional demeanor.

This position will operate on a hybrid model based in our Vancouver office.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate and coordinate with Advisory Team on 'Reason Why' letters.
- Facilitate in force policy changes such as change of owner, beneficiary, policy cancellation, policy exchanges.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to order in force illustrations.
- Process and manage living benefits claims (disability and critical illness).
- Gather insurance carrier forms to create an initial catalogue, complete the ongoing maintenance in line with carrier form requirement changes, and communicate changes to the Advisory Team.
- Escalate client complaints with the Director, Insurance Services.
- Create and maintain New Business checklist and communicate changes as necessary.
- Deliver a high level of first-class, personalized, and end-to-end client and Advisory Team service with rapid and solutions-based resolutions of queries.
- Mentor team members to support their learning and development.
- Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 3+ years' related work experience in a client facing role at a wealth management firm with exposure to investment, financial planning, and insurance planning.
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Excel when focused on complex tasks that require attention to detail.
- Deliver high quality work while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

**Compensation & Benefits Package**:
This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of **$63,000-$87,000**; dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity, plus a bonus, RRSP contribution, and participation in our Profit-sharing Program.
