**JOB DESCRIPTION**

EKISTICS is in search of a skilled Project Manager with experience in steering projects from the initial design phase through entitlement and permitting to completion. This role is a multifaceted one, blending the technical know-how of land planning with the coordination prowess required for project management.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Manage, negotiate, and direct coordination with outside agencies.
- Manage and direct subconsultants and coordinate with the design team.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules and budgets.
- Negotiate with approving agencies in relaxation of requirements or acceptance of alternate design options.
- Site visits and travel for meetings when needed.
- Identify community problems, issues, and opportunities that could affect project outcomes.
- Chair and attend meetings with Clients, subconsultants, and outside agencies.
- Chair and attend open houses/weekend/evening meetings.
- Perform other related duties/responsibilities as assigned.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or a Master's degree in Community and Regional planning is preferred, relevant experience in consulting practice may qualify.
- 3-6 years of local Urban Planning experience.
- Extremely organized, excellent management skill for the day-to-day progress of the project and coordinate the demands of multi-disciplinary professional consultants, various government departments, owners, and interest groups.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects in addition to working as part of a team.
- Excellent written, graphic, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Energetic, confident, and comfortable making presentations to clients and municipalities.
- Tech-savvy: Professional knowledge of computer hardware and software programs, which include Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, GIS, SketchUp and mapping software.
- Adeptly integrate and respond to feedback provided by the team members, government bodies and public consultations.
- Public engagement, presentations and speaking skills are beneficial.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and possess a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Canada.

We bring together an energetic team of talented design professionals with expertise in planning, architecture, urban design, stakeholder consultation, resort planning, landscape architecture and golf design to pursue the Art of Place-Making.
