**Duties**:

- Manage a portfolio of key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Conduct risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Identify opportunities for business development and upselling to existing clients
- Review client deliverables prepared by staff
- Management and overseeing of junior staff
- Organize accounting tasks from initiation to completion.
- Assignment of work to the team and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Train and develop the team and create a high-performing department.
- Develop staff skillsets related to technical knowledge, communication skills, and project management.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Review current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the accounting team, advise and implement new procedures for increased efficiency. (looking for overall process efficiency, standardization of processes i.e. tracking clients and keeping up to date notes on clients)
- Conduct quarter Performance Evaluations with direct reports.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in budgeting and cost management activities

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting
- Proven experience in account management, preferably in a senior role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on risk management
- Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

**Salary**: $80,107.00-$90,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Management: 4 years (preferred)
