We are seeking an experienced marketer to take on the role of Marketing Communications Manager - Media at Glacier FarmMedia. Reporting to the Media Innovation and Product Lead, you will be responsible for marketing communications materials in digital, print, video, and social channels. You will get the chance to work with team of dedicated, experienced, in-house creative resources in a variety of franchises. You will help refine brand positioning, experiment with new tactics, and implement measurable marketing campaigns that connect with farmers across Canada.

**Job Purpose**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing the marketing and communications campaigns, tactics, and initiatives for the Glacier FarmMedia network of media franchises
- Strategically curating the communications considering each franchise’s value proposition for various key audiences in Canadian agriculture: our core audience (farmers), and our clients
- Lead the design and distribution of sales resources for new and existing products.
- Management functions including direction, supervision, budgetary oversight.
- Able to create clear, concise, and constructive briefs and positioning to guide to creative teams
- Interested to write copy and edit/refine the copywriting of others

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of agriculture marketing and communications experience
- Post-secondary education in business, agriculture, communications, or a related field is an asset; demonstrated progressive experience in these roles will also be considered
- Fluency with Microsoft Office 365
- Understanding of creative processes, social media and workflow management tools is considered an asset
- Self-starter capable of operating efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Collaborative worker who works across cross-functional teams to achieve results
- Familiarity with Canadian agriculture is important to this role.

**Working Conditions**:This role is ‘remote’ and can work anywhere within Canada. Some occasional travel within Canada may be required.

This is an influencer role that will work collaboratively with a variety of cross functional roles in the business.
