**THE ROLE**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
Plan and implement grocery, dairy, and bread product merchandising to maximize sales and customer satisfaction and maintain overall store appearance.

Maintain all orders, receiving, pricing, signage, loss tracking, merchandising, returns and supplier credits for maximum profit and sales.

Control product rotation with all perishable items; manage floor displays to minimize limited product loss.

Lead, manage and inspire Grocery team members to ensure a positive and memorable customer experience.

Manage department inventories by tracking weekly sales reports and ordering products and supplies to meet customer requirements and the company's gross profit goals.

Identify areas for improvement in operations and customer service and suggest and implement changes and procedures to address these needs.

Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all team members, customers, and vendors and handle all customer concerns and complaints effectively and positively, ensuring beneficial results.

Support Team Member reviews, and all related Human Resource duties.

Monitor the sales floor to prevent loss and ensure store security.

Serve as a role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our Core Values.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING**:
At least two years of retail supervisory experience in a grocery, food specialty or produce environment.

Outstanding leadership skills; you serve as a role model for the department and all other store Team Members.

Strong written and verbal business communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for providing superior customer service and sharing produce knowledge.

Flexibility to work various hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

A positive attitude and the desire to lead and motivate a team.

The physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25-50 lbs repeatedly.

The ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
