**Organizational Alignment and Duties**:

- Execute the implementation and optimization of a new EMR system and reporting based on CUPS needs in collaboration with Health Director
- Support the quarterly and annual health reporting processes, through data management and analysis
- As the EMR specialists, support the maintenance and optimization of the EMR system
- Support and facilitate quality improvement projects, alongside health teams and leadership, to enhance program service delivery
- Support clinical operations through panel management
- Participate in the CUPS Data and Evaluation Working Group to support data integrity, evaluation, and analysis at CUPS
- Increase efficiency in quarterly and annual reporting, both within health and organizationally, through standardization of EMR data entry and analysis
- Support the analysis and interpretation of CUPS data (both in the EMR and outside of health) to align with CUPS strategic priories and team goals
- Support the implementation of integrated care through coordinated and cohesive data management

**Leadership Areas**
- Create approachable, caring and trauma-informed environment for clients, guests, and colleagues
- Function as warden for employee and client dignity by ensuring confidential information is managed with the utmost care and respect in alignment with CUPS privacy protocols & values
- Function as an ambassador of CUPS mission and values both internally and externally
- Create positive worker, guest, and client experience by efficiently connecting requests and inquiries to the most appropriate program or staff person

**Stakeholder Relations**:

- Develop and maintain collaborative and accountable working relations with internal CUPS colleagues to strengthen communication flow and cross-program understanding to support integrated care for clients
- Partner closely with leaders and CUPS Research and Evaluation teams on reporting requirements and data collection with a continuous improvement mindset
- Provide caring, dependable, trauma informed care to all clients accessing CUPS to reduce barriers to service and increase community trust
- Share experience and knowledge with students, volunteers and guests interested in CUPS services to further develop CUPS social justice impact & external ambassador network

**Background Required**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in a related field, or relevant work experience (preferably a health discipline)
- Clinical and technical experience, including familiarity with both staff & physician workflows in a primary care setting as it applies in the EMR, and patient experience is required.
- Experience in WOLF and/or Med Access EMR’s strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in health reporting from EMR systems
- Demonstrate experience with a primary care Electronic Medical Record system, including data standardization, clean up, and extraction, and experience as an EMR administrator or super-user
- Working knowledge of quality improvement frameworks
- Team building skills and an understanding of trauma-informed principles
- Knowledge of and ability to promote QI methods and principles an asset
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in data extraction for reporting purposes
- Experience working in the non-profit sector an asset
