Legal Assistant Position - We are a plaintiff’s side law firm looking for someone to join our team

We deal with a wide range of litigation including motor vehicle accident tort claims, accident benefits, employment matters and disability claims.

Experience in the legal field is a benefit, however, it is not a requirement for this position.

**Duties**:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents using document management systems
- Assist with client intake
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information and client records
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars and handling phone calls

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
- Strong clerical and administrative skills, including typing and filing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with data entry processes and accuracy in entering information
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

**Salary**: From $32,000.00 per year
